Dr. Adam Curwood
Dr Curwood originally studied Exercise Science before his career path turned to Chiropractic. He has always been interested in the sporting health field. As a junior, he represented Victoria in soccer for 3 years at a National level. His desire to continually improve and better himself as an athlete in performance and conditioning is the same driving force he uses for people coming into the clinic. When asked why Dr Adam enjoys being a Chiropractor his answer is always the same: “I’ve always wanted to help people, make a difference and enjoy my work”.
Dr Curwood had always had an interest in Chiropractic as he saw a chiropractor as an adolescent for headaches and low back pain, although he never saw Chiropractic as a career option until studying exercise science and living with another Chiropractic student. After seeing how passionate his house mate was about Chiropractic it peaked his interest and he decided to learn more. After attending a few Chiropractic seminars and information sessions Dr Curwood applied and enrolled in a Bachelor and Masters in Clinical Chiropractic at RMIT University. Since enrolling in the course he has not looked back and is still continually learning and developing his skills as a Chiropractor to assist patients with all of their individuals needs.
Dr Curwood is now a Senior Chiropractor at our Werribee Chiropractic clinic in Melbourne’s western suburbs. He has vast experience in managing patients with spinal and musculoskeletal health related issues. Often pain can arise from trauma, accidents, injuries, sport, work and other related stresses placed on the body. Dr Curwood’s training and experience has taught him that it is not just the correct diagnosis and analysis that is key, but rather the specific treatment and rehabilitation of each individual patient that is most important.
